About Us

A new hospitality company focused on creating experiences that build community.

We are available for consultation and freelance projects offering photography, brand strategy, marketing, event, and experience design.

If you own a hospitality based business, we’d love to talk to you for Inhospitable.

If you have a heritage property, we’d love to talk about purchasing for our future venture.

Norah Davis

Norah is a storyteller who's always been obsessed with food; what to eat next, what to make for others and where she can recommend others eat next. She has 10 years of experience working front of house, first for catering companies and then restaurants in DC, Boston, and Seattle including being a part of the opening team at Serious Pie, South Lake Union, R.I.P.

At 5, she insisted on serving her parent’s dinner party guests "fruit soup": bowls of water with cut up apples and bananas. At 17, any alcohol swiped from her parents (sorry parents) was to test cocktail recipes cut out from issues of Gourmet. Her background and training in theatre was inspired, in equal parts, a love of making things with people, creating experiences, and for the abundance of snack planning, shared meals, and stress baking. At 21, she began hosting Seder dinner, when her grandmother, who nurtured her love of food, passed away, and has subsequently crammed as many as 32 mostly non-Jews into tiny apartments from Boston to Seattle.

6 years ago, Norah stepped away from theatre seeking more stability and money and got a "real job" in marketing and advertising at Meta. The last play she directed was Joanna Garner’s Please Open Your Mouth; an immersive experience of food and sexuality. She spent last few years further developing her toolkit for making things with people through continuing education in User Experience Design, Seth Godin's altMBA, Priya Parker's The Art of Gathering, Cornell's Hospitality Management certification, and spent a lot of time teaching fitness classes at Flywheel, Be Luminous Yoga, and NW Fitness Project.

She loves learning from others who are passionate about what they do and Inhospitable is for anyone else who loves hospitality, travel, and talking about food.
